Compassionate In-Home Care for Seniors in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania
ACS Homecare is contracted by the Montgomery County OPTIONS Program to help older adults in Montgomery County, PA remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Through participation in the OPTIONS Program, eligible seniors can receive supportive in-home services tailored to their individual needs.
What is the Pennsylvania OPTIONS Program?
The Pennsylvania OPTIONS Program is a state-funded program designed to help seniors age safely at home and avoid unnecessary nursing home placement.
Administered locally through the Montgomery County Office of Aging Services, the program provides care management and home-based support services for older adults who need assistance with daily living activities.
The goal of the program is to enhance quality of life while supporting independence within the community.

Personal Care Assistance that includes:
Companion Care and Safety Supervision
Meal Preparation and Eating Assistance
Light Housekeeping and Laundry
Medication Reminders
Who Qualifies for the OPTIONS Program?
To qualify for Montgomery County OPTIONS services, individuals generally must:
- Be 60 years of age or older
- Reside in Pennsylvania
- Require assistance with daily living activities
- Need support to remain safe in the home
The OPTIONS Program does not have strict financial eligibility limits. However, depending on income, some participants may contribute toward the cost of services through a sliding fee scale. A professional assessment is completed to determine eligibility and identify the level of care needed.
